The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in the United States hosts the NAACP Image Awards every year to recognize outstanding work in theater, music, cinema, television, and literature. The 54th NAACP Image Awards was held on the night of February 25, 2023.
The celebration honors accomplishments made by people of color in more than 80 areas in the arts, entertainment, and culture. Those recognized included Quinta Brunson, Viola Davis, Will Smith, and Angela Bassett, who earned Entertainer of the Year. Queen Latifah, a Golden Globe, Emmy, and Grammy Award-winning actress and producer, hosted it.
Many fashion icons, including Zendaya, Serena Williams, Gabrielle Union, Tracee Ellis Ross, and others, brought their most exquisite couture ensembles on the red carpet, which did not dissapoint.
